Enrolling in Graduate Courses

Type: Enrollment
Effective Date: 6/1/2012

Students must be qualified by background and level of academic maturity to enter graduate courses. If a course is listed with a prerequisite, students must have received credit for the prerequisite as a condition of admission to the course. Otherwise, satisfactory evidence must be presented to the course’s instructor that the student can complete the work successfully.

Students admitted to graduate studies can enter a graduate course that has no prerequisites; however, it is assumed that students have at least the equivalent of an undergraduate minor in that course area.
