GENERAL INFORMATION REGARDING FIRE PLAN
Due to the physical size of the Medical and Counseling Services, there will be two areas at which staff can report once evacuated. For those that evacuate out of the North West entrance, gather at the sidewalk entrance to Parking Lot P7A just past the entrance into Lumberjack stadium. For those that evacuate out of the South door, gather at the stop sign on San Francisco and Mountain View Drive.
One of the four drills each year need to include practicing an AED drill.
Fire extinguishers are checked by Facilities Management Fire Division. There is a visual inspection at the time of each drill to be certain gauge pressure is in operable range, hose and nozzle are unobstructed and lock-pin is in place.
Northern Arizona University Fire Life Safety staff performs a fire inspection of the building upon request.
